Is the AKASO Mini Projector worth it?

For dark-room movies, travel and kids' use, yes. It is not a replacement for a TV or a bright living-room projector.

How bright is 50 lumens in practice?

Dim. Expect a watchable image only in a dark room, and a washed-out one with any lamp or window light.

What resolution does it actually project?

Native 720 x 480. It accepts 1080p input but downscales it, so HD video looks softer than on a 1080p projector.

How long does the battery last?

Up to 2.5 hours per charge, roughly one long movie. Lower brightness and volume to get closer to that figure.

What can I connect to it?

It takes HDMI and USB sources plus screen mirroring from phones and laptops. Check the listing for the exact ports and cables included.
