Is the Kova sofa good for homes with pets?

The velvet covers are removable and washable, which helps with pet hair and accidents. Velvet does attract lint and hair between washes, so a lint roller helps.

Can I change the chaise to the other side?

Yes. The Kova is a five-piece modular set, so you can move the chaise piece to either end when you reassemble it.

What is GREENGUARD certification on this sofa?

GREENGUARD certification means the sofa meets limits on volatile organic compound emissions for indoor air. That matters if you are sensitive to new-furniture smells.

How do I clean the velvet covers?

The covers are washable. Remove them and follow the care label, and let them air dry to avoid shrinking or matting the velvet.

What colors does the Kova come in?

It comes in black, white and oatmeal. Black hides stains best; white and oatmeal show marks sooner.

Is the Kova worth it over a standard sectional?

You pay more for modular pieces, washable velvet and GREENGUARD certification. If you never rearrange furniture and don't need washable covers, a fixed sectional costs less.
