  • Removable U-bar switches it from chair transport to table storage

Questions and answers

How much does the Alera Chair/Table Cart cost?
The best new price is $256.07 at Bloom Skins as of November 5, 2026. Four stores list it new, so compare before buying.
How many folding chairs will it hold?
Alera rates it to 600 lb. Stacked folding chairs typically run 8 to 12 lb each, so a full load is roughly 50 to 70 chairs, depending on the chair and how evenly you stack them.
Will it fit my folding tables?
The cart adjusts from about 50.8 to 72 inches deep, and the U-bar comes off for table storage. It is listed as compatible with most styles of folding chairs and tables, but check your table's folded length against that range.
Does it need assembly?
Yes. The cart ships unassembled, so plan on bolting the frame and casters together before first use.
Can one person move a full load?
Yes. Four casters, two locking, carry the load, and the U-bar keeps chairs from tipping during transport. The cart itself weighs 65 lb, so a full load still takes some effort over thresholds and ramps.
What comes in the box?
The cart frame, casters, the removable U-bar and a safety strap. Tools for assembly are not listed.
Where is the Alera Chair/Table Cart cheapest?
At Bloom Skins, for $256.07, 21% under what the other stores charge, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Alera Chair/Table Cart?
5 stores we checked sell it, including Bloom Skins, USA Office Machines, Sam's Club, Car Dealer Depot, eBay.
