Is the All-Clad D3 8-quart stockpot worth the price?

If you make stock, soup or pasta for a crowd regularly, the even heating and long lifespan justify it for many owners. Casual cooks can spend far less on a tri-ply pot that performs similarly.

Does it work on induction cooktops?

Yes. The stainless steel body is induction ready and also works on gas, electric coil and smooth-top ranges.

Can it go in the oven?

Yes, the pot and lid are oven and broiler safe to 600°F, so you can finish braises or roast in it.

Is it dishwasher safe?

All-Clad rates it dishwasher safe, but recommends handwashing to keep the stainless finish bright and free of spots.
