Our take on the All-Clad Legacy Set 71 Pieces

The All-Clad Legacy Set is a 71-piece kitchen collection built around a 15-piece Copper Core 5-ply cookware set, with D3 and D7 stainless pieces, enameled cast iron, a 16-inch rotating stone gas pizza oven, and a full run of small electrics and tools. It is a single purchase meant to stock a kitchen from scratch, not a set you add to an existing collection. The only recorded price is $5,000.00, logged on October 31, 2026, so there is no range to compare against yet.

Best forSetting up a full kitchen in one purchaseHome cooks who want Copper Core performance across the core pansHouseholds that bake pizza outdoors and cook with electricsBuyers who value US-made bonded cookware and long warranties
Pros
  • Copper Core's 5-ply construction gives fast, even heat and precise control
  • Covers stovetop, oven, outdoor pizza, baking, and small appliances in one order
  • Enameled cast iron skillet and BBQ tool set extend it outdoors
  • Knife set, tools, and bakeware remove most separate purchases
  • All-Clad's bonded stainless carries a limited lifetime warranty
Cons
  • $5,000.00 is a large outlay, and many pieces will see little use
  • Copper Core is not induction-compatible; only the D3 and D7 stainless pieces are
  • Hand washing is recommended for most of the cookware
  • Duplicates are likely if you already own good pans or appliances
  • The pizza oven and electrics add bulk and storage demands

What reviewers say

Reception is drawn from All-Clad's bonded cookware lines rather than this bundle. Owners of Copper Core and D3 consistently rate heat response and durability highly, while complaining about weight, handles, and care. The electrics and pizza oven in the set have little independent track record.

Pros
  • Even heating and quick response from Copper Core's copper layer
  • Sturdy construction that holds up over years of daily use
  • Made in the US with a limited lifetime warranty
Cons
  • Heavy pans, especially the larger vessels
  • Handles that get hot on the stovetop and in the oven
  • Hand washing and copper care add upkeep

Questions and answers

Is the All-Clad Legacy Set worth $5,000?
Only if you are starting from almost nothing. Priced at $5,000.00 as of October 31, 2026, the set costs less than buying the Copper Core cookware, pizza oven, and electrics separately, but you pay for pieces you may never use.
Does the Copper Core cookware work on induction?
No. Copper Core has an aluminum and copper core that induction cannot heat. The D3 and D7 stainless pieces in the set are induction-compatible.
What is actually in the box?
The core is a 15-piece Copper Core cookware set, plus a D3 flared roaster with rack, a D7 6-quart stovetop slow cooker, a 16-inch rotating stone gas pizza oven with cover, a 7-quart cast aluminum slow cooker, an immersion blender, and the remaining knives, bakeware, tools, and electrics.
How does Copper Core compare to D3 or D7?
Copper Core adds a copper layer for faster, more even heat than D3's 3-ply build. D7 is the heaviest and most durable of the three, and the set includes pieces from all three lines.
Is the pizza oven safe to use outdoors only?
Yes. It is a gas-fired oven with a rotating stone and a waterproof cover, so it is designed for outdoor use on a patio or deck.
When is this set cheapest?
The only recorded price is $5,000.00 on October 31, 2026, so there is no lower point yet. Large sets like this typically discount around major holiday sales.
Is the All-Clad Legacy Set 71 Pieces at its lowest price?
The lowest price we've seen is $5,000.00 at All-Clad on October 31.
