Our take on the Amadwell 47 Inch L-Shaped Office Desk with Power Outlets and Drawers

The Amadwell 47-inch L-shaped desk is a corner computer desk in brown with three built-in drawers, two power outlets and USB ports. The L shape fits into a corner and gives a main work surface plus a return for a monitor and laptop. The built-in outlets and USB ports cut down on cable clutter, and the drawers keep office supplies off the desktop. It is a budget-tier desk, so expect particle board construction rather than solid wood.

Best forSmall home offices and bedrooms where a corner is the only free wall spaceRemote workers who want outlets and USB charging within reachBuyers who want drawer storage without adding a filing cabinetStudents setting up a first dedicated study desk
Pros
  • L shape uses corner space and gives two work zones
  • Two power outlets and USB ports built into the desktop
  • Three drawers add storage most desks in this class lack
  • 47-inch footprint suits small rooms
  • Brown finish hides smudges and scratches better than white
Cons
  • Particle board build, so it is heavy and not built to be moved often
  • 47 inches is tight for a dual-monitor setup plus a printer
  • Assembly takes time and usually needs two people
  • Drawer glides and outlet wiring are the parts most likely to feel cheap

Questions and answers

Is the Amadwell L-shaped desk worth it?
For a small corner office, yes. You get outlets, USB charging and three drawers in one piece of furniture. If you need a large, sturdy surface for heavy gear, spend more on a solid-wood or metal-frame desk.
How big is the desk once assembled?
It is a 47-inch L-shaped corner desk, so it spans roughly 47 inches along each wall. Measure your corner and leave room to open the drawers before buying.
Does it really have power outlets and USB ports?
Yes. The desktop includes two power outlets and USB ports, so you can plug in a laptop, monitor or phone without running a cable to the wall.
How many drawers does it have?
Three drawers. They are best for cables, pens, notebooks and small accessories rather than hanging files.
Is it hard to assemble?
Plan on a couple of hours and two people. The parts are labeled, but the instructions are the weakest point according to owners.
When is the best time to buy it?
Office furniture discounts cluster around back-to-school in late summer and Black Friday in November. Check the price history on this page before buying.
What do buyers say about the Amadwell 47 Inch L-Shaped Office Desk with Power Outlets and Drawers?
