Our take on the Amazon Collection 14K Yellow Gold Crucifix Pendant Necklace

A 14K yellow gold crucifix pendant on an 18-inch rope chain with a spring ring clasp. The pendant and chain together weigh about 2.46 grams, so it is light enough for daily wear. It is a single-store item: the best new price is $747.99 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026, and no other store prices it new, so there is no cheaper listing to compare against.

Best forA baptism, confirmation or first communion giftEveryday wear for someone who wants solid 14K goldA small, understated cross rather than a statement pieceBuyers who want a ready-to-wear pendant-and-chain set
Pros
  • Solid 14K yellow gold, stamped 14k
  • Pendant and chain come together, no separate purchase
  • Light 2.46-gram total weight sits comfortably all day
  • 18-inch rope chain suits most necklines
  • Spring ring clasp is simple to fasten
Cons
  • Only one store lists it new, so there is no price competition
  • At $747.99 it is priced as fine jewelry, not a budget gift
  • 2.46 grams total is light; the cross is small and thin
  • Rope chains can snag on knitwear and hair
  • Spring ring clasps are less secure than lobster clasps

Questions and answers

Is $747.99 a good price for this necklace?
Only Amazon lists it new at $747.99 as of November 5, 2026, so there is no second price to compare. Judge it against the gold content: about 2.46 grams of 14K gold plus making costs. If you want a lower price, wait for a jewelry sale or a coupon at Amazon.
Is the chain long enough for a man?
The chain is 18 inches, which sits at the collarbone on most adults. That is a common length for women and short for many men, who usually want 20 to 24 inches. Check the pendant drop before buying for a man.
What is included in the box?
You get the crucifix pendant and the 18-inch 14K rope chain with its spring ring clasp. The listing does not describe a gift box or pouch, so plan on your own packaging if it is a gift.
Will the gold tarnish or turn my skin green?
It is stamped 14K yellow gold, so it should not tarnish like plated jewelry and should not turn skin green. Keep it away from chlorine and perfume, and store it dry.
Is it big enough to be noticed?
The total metal weight is 2.46 grams for pendant plus chain, so the cross is small and delicate. It reads as a subtle piece, not a statement cross.
When is it cheapest?
Gold jewelry prices track the metal, so watch for Amazon jewelry promotions and holiday sales. With one seller, there is no store-to-store price war to wait for.
Where is the Amazon Collection 14K Yellow Gold Crucifix Pendant Necklace cheapest?
At Amazon, for $747.99, as of our latest check.
