Is $14.30 a good price for these jeans?

Yes. That is at the low end of the recent range, and only two stores price them new as of November 6, 2026.

How does the adjustable waist work?

An elastic band inside the waistband runs through a button tab, so you can cinch it in without a belt. It is useful for slim builds and for kids between sizes.

A cotton-blend stretch denim, roughly 83% cotton, 15.5% polyester and 1.5% elastane. It is lightweight with medium stretch and machine washable.

What sizes are listed?

The listing shows a 16-inch waist with a 24-inch inseam, sized as 16 Plus. Check the size chart, since fit is reported to vary between pairs.

Are these slim or relaxed jeans?

Neither. They are a regular straight fit through the hip, thigh and leg, with classic five-pocket styling.

How should I wash them?

Machine wash. Wash inside out with like colors and expect some shade variation, since the denim color varies by wash and dye.
