Is this jacket actually down-filled?

No. The shell and fill are 100% polyester, so it is a synthetic puffer. It still traps heat, but it is heavier than a real down jacket at the same warmth.

It is water-resistant polyester taffeta, which sheds snow and light rain. It is not seam-sealed, so skip it for heavy rain.

How does size 1X fit?

The listing gives bust 41–44 in, waist 35.5–38.5 in and hip 45–47.5 in for 1X, with a relaxed fit throughout. Layer a sweater underneath without sizing up.

The jacket in sage green, size 1X. The product line also includes a drawstring storage bag, but this Mercari listing does not confirm one is included.

Amazon Essentials puffers drop in price in January and February as winter stock clears. This Mercari listing shows no price, so compare it against current retail before buying.

Our take on the Amazon Essentials Women's Long Down Jacket with Foldable Hood, Lightweight and Waterproof (Available in Plus Sizes)

A mid-thigh quilted puffer from Amazon Essentials in 100% polyester taffeta, fully lined and insulated, with a foldable hood, elastic cuffs and zip pockets. It is water-resistant rather than waterproof, so it handles snow and light rain but not a downpour. The listing is a single used-style Mercari offer in sage green, size 1X, with no price shown, so there is no recent range to compare against.
