Is the Colorsoft worth it over a Paperwhite?

If you read comics, illustrated books or want color covers and highlights, the color screen is the main reason to pay more. For plain text, a black-and-white Kindle costs less and reads just as well.

How is the Colorsoft different from the Kindle Scribe?

The Colorsoft is a 7-inch color reader without a stylus. The Scribe is larger and built around note-taking with a pen.

How long does the battery last?

Amazon rates it at up to 8 weeks on a charge. Heavy color use and wireless charging habits will shorten that.

Does it have a memory card slot?

No. Storage is fixed at 32 GB, which holds thousands of books and a good number of comics.

Yes, it is water resistant, so poolside and bath reading are fine.

Kindle prices typically drop during Prime Day and Black Friday. Check the price history before buying.
