What Attachment Combs are compatible with the AMP'D Blades?
AMP'D™ blades are designed to work with the AMP'D™ Magnetic Guard Set (Item #564994). As part of the Andis Lync™ System, AMP'D™ blades use a different attachment platform than traditional Andis blades, so standard Andis attachment combs, including the classic purple guards, are not compatible. The AMP'D™ Magnetic Guard Set includes five magnetic combs ranging from 1/16" (1.5 mm) to 1/2" (13 mm) and is specifically designed for use with AMP'D™ blade setups.
What is the Lync System?
The Lync™ System is Andis' cross-tool blade platform designed to expand blade compatibility across select Andis and compatible professional tools. By using optimized blade mounting geometry, the Lync™ System allows barbers to use Andis blade technology across more tool options while maintaining the performance and cutting characteristics they prefer.
