Our take on the Amscan The Grinch Classic Adult Costume

The Amscan The Grinch Classic Adult Costume is a licensed Dr. Seuss outfit for grown-ups, built around the Grinch's green fur look with a Santa-style jacket and matching pieces. It comes in size XL and is made of polyester, aimed at Christmas parties, office events and Halloween crossovers. Amscan is a mass-market party costume brand, so expect a costume-grade build rather than a durable garment. No current price was provided for this listing, so check the live comparison before buying.

Questions and answers

Is this costume worth it?
For a Christmas party or a one-off event, yes: it is a licensed look at a costume price. Do not expect it to survive many seasons of heavy wear.
What size should I order?
This listing is size XL. Amscan adult costumes tend to run roomy, so measure your chest and compare with the size chart before ordering rather than assuming your street size.
Does it come with a mask or gloves?
Classic Amscan Grinch costumes usually include the main outfit pieces, with masks, gloves and makeup often sold separately. Confirm the exact contents on the product listing before buying.
Can I wear it for Halloween?
Yes. The Grinch reads as a monster costume as much as a Christmas one, so it works for Halloween and costume contests too.
How should I care for it?
Spot clean or hand wash cold and hang dry; machine drying can melt or mat the polyester fur. Brush the fur trim lightly to reduce shedding.
When is it cheapest?
Christmas costumes usually drop after December 25 and again in early fall before Halloween. Watch the price history and buy outside peak party weeks.
