Our take on the Amumu 20 Bar Compact Stainless Steel Espresso Machine with Milk Frother

The Amumu 20 Bar Compact Espresso Machine is a small stainless steel semi-automatic with a built-in steam wand, a front-facing pressure gauge and a dedicated hot water spout. It measures 12.2 x 5.5 x 11.8 inches, so it fits narrow counters, and its NTC thermostat claims a 30-second preheat. It pulls single or double shots from the included pressurized-style baskets and froths milk for cappuccino and latte. Its price has held at $109.99 since October 30, 2026, so there is no cheaper day to wait for in its short record.

Questions and answers

Is the Amumu 20 Bar espresso machine worth it?
At $109.99 it is a low-cost way to get a 20 bar pump, a pressure gauge and a steam wand in one compact body. Expect entry-level build and a single boiler, not café-grade consistency.
How does it compare with a Breville Bambino or De'Longhi Stilosa?
It undercuts both on price and adds a pressure gauge, but the Bambino heats faster and has better temperature stability, and the Stilosa has a longer track record for parts and support.
Do I need a grinder to use it?
Yes. It takes ground coffee in the included single and double baskets, so a burr grinder is the biggest upgrade you can make. Pre-ground coffee works but stale grounds give thin shots.
How big is it, and will it fit under cabinets?
It is 12.2 inches deep, 5.5 inches wide and 11.8 inches tall, so check clearance above the cup-warming tray before buying. The narrow width suits small kitchens.
What comes in the box?
The machine, a portafilter, single and double filter baskets, a coffee spoon/tamper, a cleaning needle and a water injector. You supply cups, coffee and milk.
When is it cheapest?
Its lowest recorded daily price is $109.99, set on October 30, 2026, and it has not moved since. There is no cheaper window in its price history to wait for.
