Is the AMUMU frother worth $14.99?

At $14.99 it is a low-cost way to froth milk or mix drinks by hand. If you want dense, consistent foam for lattes every day, a jug-style frother does that better for more money.

Does it heat the milk?

No. The warm setting is for frothing, but the whisk does not heat milk on its own. Warm the milk first, then froth it.

What batteries does it take?

It runs on batteries, so check the pack for the size and count before buying. Rechargeable batteries keep running costs down.

Can I put it in the dishwasher?

No. It is hand wash only, so rinse the whisk head by hand and dry it right away.

What is the warranty?

It comes with a one-year parts warranty.

Only one new price is listed, $14.99 at Best Buy as of November 8, 2026, so there is no lower recent price to wait for.
