- Does this bed need a box spring?
- No. It is a platform bed, so a king mattress sits directly on the slats. That also means you can skip the box spring cost.
- How much storage does it add?
- There are shelves built into the headboard and two drawers in the footboard. That covers bedside items and folded clothes or linens.
- Is $1,044.99 a good price?
- Only one store lists it new at that price as of November 7, 2026, so there is no lower competing price to compare. Judge it against other king storage beds rather than against other listings of this model.
- What are the dimensions?
- The listed dimensions are 80 inches wide, 87 inches high and 48 inches long. Check your room and doorways against those figures before ordering.
- What mattress size fits?
- It takes a standard king mattress. The platform base means no box spring is needed.
- When is it cheapest?
- With a single new listing, discounts depend on that store's promotions. Watch the price around major holiday sales rather than expecting a standing lower price elsewhere.
- Where is the AndMakers Burlington Cherry King Storage Platform Bed With Built in Shelves and 2 Footboard Drawers cheapest?
- At The Home Depot, for $1,044.99, as of our latest check.
