Questions and answers
- Will it work with my TV brand?
- Universal IR remotes usually cover the major brands, but code coverage varies. Check the listing's compatibility list for your exact model before buying.
- How does voice control work on an IR remote?
- Voice control on an IR remote normally needs a compatible TV or set-top box that accepts voice commands. On a TV without that support, the voice button may do nothing.
- Are batteries included?
- Yes. Two AAA alkaline batteries are included, so it should work as soon as it arrives.
- What is the range?
- The claimed maximum range is 10 metres, and it needs a clear line of sight to the TV because it uses infrared.
- Is it worth it over a brand-name replacement remote?
- It costs less and adds voice control, but a brand-name remote is more likely to have every original button. Buy this as a spare or budget replacement.
