Is the bundle worth it over buying the game separately?

If you need a Switch anyway, the bundle saves you the cost of the game. If you already own a Switch, buy the game alone instead.

Should I get this or the OLED Switch?

The OLED model has a larger, brighter 7-inch screen and a better kickstand but costs more. This standard model is fine for docked play and budget buyers.

How long does the battery last?

Nintendo rates it at roughly 4.5 to 9 hours depending on the game and brightness. Demanding titles sit near the low end.

Does it come with a microSD card?

The bundle includes the console and the game; storage expansion is supported but a card is generally not included. Check the box contents before buying.

Can I play it on a TV?

Yes. Dock it and output is up to 1080p. It does not support 4K.

Our take on the Animal Crossing: New Horizons

This is a Nintendo Switch console bundle that includes Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Nintendo's life-simulation game about building a island home. The console is the standard Switch: a 6.2-inch capacitive touchscreen, 1080p output when docked, detachable Joy-Con controllers and roughly 4.5 to 9 hours of battery depending on the game. It plays Switch game cards and supports expandable storage via microSD. The bundle is aimed at buyers who want the console and the game in one purchase rather than the game alone.
