Our take on the Aosom 24V Electric Go Kart with Adjustable Seat

The Aosom 24V Electric Go Kart is a single-seat ride-on for kids 6 and up, with dual-drive motors, a 7.5 mph top speed and a seat that adjusts as the child grows. It runs about 50 minutes per charge and takes 8 to 12 hours to recharge, so it suits planned outdoor sessions rather than all-day use. It is built for paved surfaces only, cement and asphalt, and carries up to 110 lbs. At $251.99 at Target as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent price range across 8 stores.

Questions and answers

Is the Aosom 24V go-kart worth it?
For paved-driveway fun at a low price, yes. Accept the 50-minute run time and slow charging, and it delivers a real dual-motor kart for a child 6 and up.
How fast does it go and is that safe for a 6-year-old?
Top speed is 7.5 mph with slow-start acceleration. That is fast for a young beginner, so supervise closely and keep it on smooth pavement away from traffic.
How long does the battery last and how long to charge?
About 50 minutes of run time from the 24V 5AH battery, and 8 to 12 hours for a full charge. Plan one session per charge and plug it in overnight.
Can it drive on grass or gravel?
No. It is rated for cement and asphalt roads only. Grass, gravel and hills will strain the motors and shorten run time.
What size rider fits?
Up to 110 lbs, with an adjustable seat that moves as the child grows. It is a single-seat kart aimed at ages 6 and up.
When is it cheapest?
The best new price found is $251.99 at Target as of November 3, 2026, across 8 stores. Ride-on toys usually dip around Black Friday and pre-summer sales.
