Is the AOVOPRO 350W scooter worth it?

For short flat commutes at a low price, yes. If you need real 19 mph speed or 20-mile range, spend more on a scooter with a larger battery and branded cells.

How fast does it actually go?

AOVOPRO claims 19 mph, but a 350W motor typically tops out lower with an adult rider, and speed drops as the battery drains. Expect closer to 15 mph in real use.

What is the real range per charge?

The 21-mile figure assumes a light rider on flat ground at low speed. Most riders should plan on roughly 10 to 14 miles, less in cold weather or on hills.

How long does it take to charge?

About 5 hours with the included charger. There is no fast-charge option, so charge overnight or at your desk.

Is it safe for a 14-year-old?

AOVOPRO lists a minimum age of 14 and a 265 lb limit. Note the scooter has no NRTL safety certification, so a helmet and conservative speeds matter.

Does it fold for the bus or car trunk?

Yes, the stem folds down for carrying and storage. It is still a fairly heavy scooter, so check the folded weight before planning to carry it far.

Our take on the AOVOPRO Electric Scooter 350W 8.5-inch Foldable

The AOVOPRO 350W is a folding electric scooter with 8.5-inch wheels, a 350W motor and a claimed 19 mph top speed. AOVOPRO rates range at up to 21 miles and load at 265 lb, with a 5-hour charge time. It is a budget commuter scooter, and its 3.5-out-of-5 average from about 1,400 ratings reflects that: it does the basic job, but build quality and real-world range draw mixed reports.
