Is the AT26 worth $3,195?

For a shop doing regular low-profile and stiff-sidewall work, the electric two-way turntable and steel clamps justify a professional price. Home users who change a few tires a year will get less value from it.

Does it need a large air compressor?

Yes. The bead breaker and clamping are pneumatic, so it needs a shop air supply. Check your compressor's CFM against BendPak's spec before buying.

What wheel sizes can it handle?

BendPak markets it for low-profile, stiff-sidewall and larger-diameter assemblies. Confirm the exact clamp and rim range in the AT26 spec sheet before ordering.

How does it compare with a tilt-back tire changer?

A swing-arm machine like the AT26 is more compact and cheaper to run in tight bays. Tilt-back changers are often faster on high-volume, large-wheel work.

Where is the best price?

Home Depot lists it new at $3,195 as of November 6, 2026, and it is the only new listing we track. Watch for freight and liftgate charges, which can add to the total.

What comes in the box?

Expect the changer, standard clamps and pneumatic fittings. Confirm whether a wheel lift or accessory kit is included, since those are often sold separately.
