Is $170 a good price for the AirPods Pro 3?

It is the lowest new price among the three stores listing it as of November 7, 2026. Earlier AirPods Pro generations launched at $249, so $170 is a clear discount, but check that the Mercari listing is new and sealed.

Do the AirPods Pro 3 work with Android?

Yes, they pair over Bluetooth and play audio, but spatial audio, hands-free Siri and quick pairing are Apple-only. Android users get basic earbud functions.

You get the earbuds, a USB-C charging case and silicone ear tips in multiple sizes. A cable is included; a power adapter is not.

How long does the battery last?

Apple rates listening time in the range of several hours per charge with noise cancelling on, plus extra charges from the case. Heavy call use drains it faster.

They are water resistant, rated for sweat and light rain, not for swimming or submersion. Dry them before putting them back in the case.

Should I upgrade from AirPods Pro 2?

If your current pair holds a charge and the fit is fine, the upgrade is modest. Buy the 3 if your battery has worn down or you want the USB-C case.

Our take on the Apple AirPods Pro 3rd Generation Wireless Earbuds

The AirPods Pro 3 are Apple's third-generation in-ear earbuds, with active noise cancelling, a built-in microphone, Siri support and a USB-C case. They pair fastest with iPhones and Macs, where spatial audio and hands-free Siri work best. At $170 at Mercari as of November 7, 2026, the best new price sits well below what earlier AirPods Pro generations launched at, though it is a marketplace listing rather than a big-box store.
