Is the 1TB cellular iPad Air 13-inch worth it?

It makes sense if you need lots of local storage and built-in cellular. Most buyers are fine with 256GB or 512GB Wi-Fi models for less money.

How does it compare with the iPad Pro 13-inch?

The Pro adds an OLED display, ProMotion, Face ID and the M4 chip. The Air is cheaper and still fast, but its screen and unlock method are a step down.

How long does the battery last?

Apple rates it at up to 10 hours of web browsing or video. Cellular use and heavy editing shorten that.

Does it work with the Apple Pencil Pro?

No. The 2024 iPad Air supports the Apple Pencil Pro and the USB-C Apple Pencil, not the older Pencil 2.

The iPad, a USB-C charge cable and a 20W power adapter. The Pencil and keyboard are sold separately.

Prices drop around Black Friday and back-to-school sales, and when a new iPad Air launches. Check the price history before buying.

Our take on the Apple iPad Air 13 inch WiFi Cellular 1TB M2 2024

The iPad Air 13-inch (2024) is Apple's large-screen Air, with the M2 chip, a 13-inch Liquid Retina display and support for the Apple Pencil 2 and Magic Keyboard. This is the top configuration: 1TB of storage plus Wi-Fi and cellular. At $649.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it sits far below what a 1TB cellular Air normally costs, which is worth checking carefully given the seller and condition.
