Is the iPad mini A17 Pro worth it over the iPad Air?

If you want a small, light tablet you can hold in one hand, yes. The iPad Air has a larger 11-inch screen and a faster M-series chip for about the same money, so pick the Air if screen size matters more than portability.

Does it support Apple Intelligence?

Yes. The A17 Pro chip and iPadOS 18 support Apple Intelligence features, including writing tools and an upgraded Siri.

The iPad mini, a USB-C charging cable and documentation. No power adapter is included, so you need your own USB-C charger.

Does the Apple Pencil Pro work with it?

Yes. The iPad mini (A17 Pro) supports the Apple Pencil Pro and the USB-C Apple Pencil, both sold separately. Older first- and second-generation Pencils do not work.

How much storage should I get?

256GB suits most people who keep apps, photos and some offline video. Choose 512GB only if you edit video or store large game libraries on the device.
