Is the iPhone 17 worth it over the iPhone 16?

Is $600 a good price for the iPhone 17 256GB?

It is well below the typical new price for a current 256GB iPhone. At $600 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, it is a good deal if the listing is new and unlocked.

Does the iPhone 17 have a 120Hz screen?

Yes. The 6.3-inch OLED runs adaptive refresh rates up to 120Hz, a first for a base iPhone.

How is the battery life?

Apple rates it for all-day use, and the efficient A19 chip helps. Heavy gaming and camera use will drain it faster; expect a charge by evening on busy days.

Our take on the Apple iPhone 17 256GB

The iPhone 17 is Apple's 6.3-inch base model, now with a 120Hz adaptive ProMotion display and 3000 nits peak outdoor brightness, both firsts for a non-Pro iPhone. It runs the A19 chip with a 5-core GPU and a 48MP Fusion main camera, and weighs 177 grams. The best new price is $600 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, well below what a current-generation 256GB iPhone usually costs, so it is a strong value right now.
