Our take on the Apple MacBook Air 13-inch M2

The MacBook Air 13-inch M2 is Apple's 2022 fanless laptop, built around the M2 chip with an 8-core CPU and 8-core GPU. It has a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display at 2560 x 1664 and 500 nits, a 1080p FaceTime camera, four speakers and MagSafe charging. Apple rates it at up to 18 hours of movie playback. This 256 GB / 8 GB configuration has been priced at $649 at Macpro-la as of October 28, 2026, the only price recorded in its recent range, so there is no cheaper point to wait for in that window.
