Is the Apple Watch Series 12 worth it over the Series 11?

The jump is mainly the S11 chip and the same 24-hour battery rating. If you already own a Series 10 or 11, the upgrade is small; coming from an older model, the always-on display and cellular are the bigger gains.

Do I need an iPhone to use it?

Yes. The watch pairs with an iPhone and does not work with Android phones. Cellular service also needs a carrier plan for the watch, usually a small monthly fee.

How long does the battery last?

Apple rates it at up to 24 hours, which covers a full day and a night of sleep tracking. Heavy GPS or cellular use will drain it faster, so most people charge it daily.

The watch with the 42mm black aluminum case, the S/M Sport Band, and a magnetic charging cable. A USB-C power adapter is not included.

Does the 42mm case fit small wrists?

The 42mm case is the smaller of the two sizes and suits most wrists. The included S/M band fits wrists roughly 130–180mm; larger wrists need a different band.
