Is the Aquasonic Elite Duo worth it?

For couples, yes. You get two sonic handles, two wireless chargers and two travel cases for $67.46 at Kohl's as of November 6, 2026, which is close to what one brush from a big brand costs.

How does it compare with a Sonicare or Oral-B?

It matches them on headline specs like 50,000 VPM and five modes at a lower price. The trade-off is a plastic body and fewer service options than the major brands.

How long does the battery last?

Aquasonic rates it at 30 days per charge on typical use. Heavy use of the highest modes will shorten that.

Can I use other replacement heads?

Yes. The handles accept Aquasonic heads and other compatible replacement heads, so you are not locked to one supplier.

Two toothbrush handles, two wireless chargers and two travel cases. Brush heads are included, but the count is not stated in the listing.

Our take on the Aquasonic Elite Duo Ultra Toothbrush Set

The Aquasonic Elite Duo Ultra is a two-handle sonic toothbrush set aimed at couples, with two wireless chargers and travel cases in the box. Each handle runs a 50,000 VPM motor with five brushing modes and a 30-day lithium-ion battery, and both are IPX7 waterproof. The best new price is $67.46 at Kohl's as of November 6, 2026, with three stores selling it new. That is a low price for a two-brush bundle, since most single sonic handles from major brands cost close to this on their own.

Pros

Two complete handles, two wireless chargers and two travel cases in one set
50,000 VPM sonic motor, high for the price
Five modes, including whitening and gum-care settings
30-day battery life per charge
IPX7 waterproof, so it can be rinsed and used in the shower
DuPont bristles and heads that accept other replacement heads

Cons

Plastic handle with a soft-touch grip, not a premium metal body
110V chargers, so not ideal for overseas travel without a converter
Only two heads included, so spares are an extra cost
Sonic motors at this speed can feel intense on sensitive gums at first
