Is the Arcade1Up Mortal Kombat II Deluxe worth $499?

At $499 it is at the top of its recent range, so it is a splurge. It makes sense if you want a full-size two-player cabinet with online play; if you only play solo, a cheaper Arcade1Up or a fight stick on a console costs far less.

How does it compare with the original Mortal Kombat II arcade cabinet?

It copies the shape and art but uses a 17-inch 1080p LCD and emulated software instead of a CRT and original boards. It is lighter and easier to move, but purists will notice the screen and the feel of the controls.

Does it support online play?

Yes, the cabinet lists online multiplayer alongside local two-player play. Online matches need a network connection and depend on Arcade1Up's servers, so check that the service is still supported before buying.

How much space does it need?

It is about 61 inches tall, 23.5 inches wide and 19.8 inches deep, and weighs 68 lbs. Leave room in front for two players and a few inches behind for the back panel and cables.

What games are included?

The cabinet lists 14 classic games, including Mortal Kombat II and other Midway titles such as Defender, Joust, Gauntlet, Bubbles and Klax. Check the full list on the box, since the mix varies by model.

Arcade1Up cabinets usually drop during Black Friday, holiday sales and end-of-model clearance. At $499 as of November 4, 2026, it is near its high, so waiting for a sale is reasonable.
