Will this fit my ATV wheel?

It fits 9-inch diameter wheels and measures 25 inches tall and 12 inches wide. Check your machine's stock size and clearance before buying, since a 12-inch-wide tire can rub on some quads.

Is a 6-ply tire worth it over a 4-ply?

Yes for trail and utility use. The extra plies add puncture resistance and load capacity, at the cost of a slightly firmer ride.

Can I use it on the road?

Only briefly. The J rating allows up to 62 mph, but bias-ply ATV tires wear fast and handle poorly on pavement.

It is the lowest new price among the two stores listing it as of November 5, 2026. Compare against a full set price if you need all four.

One tire. No wheel, rim or mounting hardware is included.

Our take on the Ares 25X12.00-9 All Terrain 56J 6 Ply All Season Bias Tire

This is a single 25x12.00-9 bias-ply ATV/UTV tire with a 6-ply rating, a 56 load index and a J speed rating good to 62 mph. The staggered-block tread with wide grooves is built for mixed terrain, and the 10/32-inch tread depth is typical for a utility ATV tire. At $75.00 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, it is the best new price among the two stores that list it, so it sits at the low end of what this size costs.
