- Is the Ariens Professional 28 worth $2,775?
- For long driveways and frequent heavy snow, the wide 28-inch cut and 420cc engine save real time. At $2,775 as of November 3, 2026, it is priced near the top of its recent range, so waiting for a lower price is reasonable if you are not in a hurry.
- How does it compare with the Ariens Deluxe 28?
- The Professional line uses heavier-duty components and is built for more hours per season than the Deluxe. If you clear one average driveway, the Deluxe may be enough; for multiple properties or commercial use, the Professional is the sturdier choice.
- Does it have electric start?
- Yes. It has electric start in addition to a manual recoil, which helps on cold mornings.
- What size area can it handle?
- The 28-inch width and 23.5-inch intake suit long driveways and large lots. It is more machine than most short urban driveways need.
- What comes in the box?
- Expect the blower, a chute and controls, and an owner's manual. Check with the seller about whether engine oil and a battery or cord for electric start are included.
- When is it cheapest?
- Snow blowers usually discount in late winter and early spring, and preseason sales can beat mid-season pricing. Track the price history rather than buying during the first big storm.
