Our take on the Arlo Essential 2K Outdoor Security Camera

The Arlo Essential 2K Outdoor Security Camera is a compact wired outdoor camera that records 2K video and plugs into standard power, so there is no battery to charge. It covers the basics well: color night video, a built-in spotlight, two-way audio and a siren. The catch is that most smart features, including cloud recording, sit behind an Arlo Secure subscription. At $68.30 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, it is at the low end of what this model has sold for, and two stores list it new.
