Questions and answers

Is Armor All Extreme Shield Ceramic Wax worth it?
At $19.24 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is a cheap way to get spray-on gloss and water beading in minutes. It suits quick protection, not the multi-year durability of a professional ceramic coating.
How long does the protection last?
Armor All claims over a year. Real-world reports vary with washing, sun and parking, and many owners reapply every few months to keep the beading strong.
Can I use it on plastic and rubber trim?
Yes. It is listed as compatible with vinyl, plastic and rubber, so you can carry it over bumpers, grilles and trim after the paint.
How do I apply it?
Spray onto a clean, dry panel and buff off with a microfiber towel before it dries. Work one section at a time and avoid direct sun.
Does it stain light-colored paint?
Armor All says it wipes away crystal clear and will not stain lighter paint. Buff off any excess promptly to avoid streaks.
When is it cheapest?
