- Is this a full ceiling tile?
- No. It is a 6-inch sample of the RSM280 tile, not a 2x2 or 2x4 panel. You would order full tiles separately.
- Can I use it to patch a ceiling?
- Not really. At 6 inches wide it is too small to fill a standard grid opening. It is meant for color and texture matching.
- Does it fit a standard drop ceiling grid?
- The sample is too small to sit in a 2x2 or 2x4 grid. The full RSM280 tile it represents is made for standard drop ceiling grids.
- Is $2.88 a good price for the sample?
- It is the lowest new price among the two stores listing it as of November 7, 2026. Sample prices are usually stable, so waiting is unlikely to save much.
- What is in the box?
- One sample piece of the Plain White mineral fiber tile. Grid, hangers and full panels are not included.
