Is the Typhon 3S BLX worth it for a beginner?

Yes, if you want hobby-grade speed without building a kit. It is ready to run, but budget for a LiPo battery and charger, and practice in open space before pushing full throttle.

What battery does the Typhon 3S BLX need?

It is designed for a 3S LiPo pack with an IC5 or EC5 connector. Check the battery tray dimensions before buying a pack, and use a charger rated for LiPo batteries.

How fast is the Typhon 3S BLX?

Arrma rates it for roughly 50 mph on 3S with the included gearing. Real speed depends on battery, surface and gearing changes.

Is it better than the 1/10-scale Arrma buggies?

The 1/8-scale Typhon rides over rougher ground and feels more stable at speed. The smaller 1/10 buggies are lighter, cheaper to run and easier to carry.

The box has the assembled buggy, a brushless motor and ESC, a transmitter, and basic tools. Battery and charger are sold separately.

When is the Typhon 3S BLX cheapest?

RC prices often drop during holiday sales and when a new version is announced. With only two stores listing it new, compare both before buying.
