Is this set worth it for a beginner?

Yes, if you want to try marker drawing without a big spend. It covers the basics, but serious artists will outgrow it quickly.

How does it compare with alcohol marker sets like Copic or Ohuhu?

It is a cheaper, student-grade alternative. Expect less smooth blending and a smaller color range than alcohol-marker sets from Copic or Ohuhu.

What is included in the 22 pieces?

The set is sold as a 22-piece drawing kit built around markers. Check the listing's item list for the exact marker count and any pens or tools included.

Are the markers refillable?

Budget starter markers like these are generally not refillable. Plan to replace the set rather than refill individual markers.

When is the best time to buy it?

Art-supply sets often drop during back-to-school and holiday sales. Track the price and buy when it falls below its usual level.

Our take on the Art Alternatives Get Started 22-Piece Marker Drawing Set

The Art Alternatives Get Started 22-Piece Marker Drawing Set bundles markers and drawing tools for sketching and drawing in one starter kit. It is aimed at beginners and casual artists who want a low-cost way to try marker work rather than a full professional set. Art Alternatives is a budget art-supply brand, so expect student-grade ink and build rather than artist-grade performance. No current price or price history is available for this set, so compare it against similar starter marker kits before buying.
