- How much ceiling does one pack cover?
- Twelve 24x24 inch tiles cover 48 sq ft, minus waste from cuts around lights and edges. Order a spare pack for rooms with many fixtures.
- How are the tiles installed?
- They are glue-up panels: apply construction adhesive to the back and press them to a clean, flat ceiling. No grid or nails are needed.
- Can I use them in a drop ceiling?
- Yes. The 24x24 size matches standard lay-in grid panels, so they can replace existing tiles or be glued to a solid ceiling.
- Are they paintable?
- The polished plastic can be painted with a bonding primer first, but the black finish is the intended look and paint may fill the 3D detail.
- Is $49.99 a good price?
- It is the lowest of the five stores listing the 12-pack new as of November 7, 2026, at about $4.17 a tile. Compare against per-tile prices before buying multiples.
- Do they work in a bathroom?
- The plastic resists moisture, but glue adhesion suffers on damp ceilings. Use a moisture-rated adhesive and avoid direct shower spray.
