Is the ARTSEA Mini Portable Projector worth it?

It suits a dark-room, low-budget setup where you already have a power outlet and an HDMI source. If you need daylight viewing, a battery or long lamp life, spend more on an LED projector.

Does it need a dark room?

Yes. A 30-watt lamp with no published lumen rating will look washed out in daylight. Close the curtains and dim the lights for a watchable image.

Can I use it without a power outlet?

No. It has no battery and runs on mains power, so plan a cord run to your seat or mount point.

How do I connect my phone?

The listing names phone video compatibility, but the only stated input is HDMI. For most phones you will need an HDMI adapter or a casting stick plugged into that port.

How long does the lamp last?

The lamp is rated for 5,000 hours. At four hours a night that is roughly three and a half years, and replacement lamps are not always easy to source on budget models.

Our take on the ARTSEA Mini Portable Projector Full HD Supported

The ARTSEA Mini Portable Projector is a small fixed-installation projector that accepts Full HD input over HDMI and lists phone video compatibility. Its headline specs are modest: a 30-watt lamp rated for 5,000 hours, 6000:1 dynamic contrast, 16:9 aspect ratio and auto keystone correction. It has no built-in battery, so "portable" means easy to move between outlets, not cord-free use. No current price was supplied for this page, so check the live comparison before buying.
