Our take on the Ashley Anemoon Metal Floor Lamp

The Ashley Anemoon is a black metal floor lamp with a fabric drum shade, a knob switch and an adjustable height and arm. It takes one standard E27 bulb up to 100 W, so a bright LED works fine. It stands about 64.6 inches tall and weighs 17 lb, so it is a solid piece rather than a light one. At $79 at Mor Furniture as of November 8, 2026, it sits at the low end of what the 7 stores listing it charge.

Best forLiving room or bedroom reading lightRenters who want an adjustable lampBuyers wanting a fabric-shade look under $100Anyone who already owns E27 bulbs
Pros
  • Adjustable height and arm let you aim light where you need it
  • Standard E27 base takes cheap, widely sold LED bulbs
  • Fabric drum shade gives softer light than a bare metal shade
  • Knob switch is simple and easy to find in the dark
  • Black metal frame suits casual and modern rooms
Cons
  • Bulb not included, so add the cost of a 100 W-equivalent LED
  • 17 lb and 64.6 inches tall: heavy to move and tips easily if bumped
  • Corded only, with no outlet switch or dimming built in
  • Dry locations only, so not for damp rooms or covered porches
