Our take on the Ashley Biscoe Performance Fabric Dual Power Reclining Sofa and Loveseat

The Ashley Biscoe is a two-piece living room set: a dual power reclining sofa and a matching loveseat, both upholstered in black performance fabric. The sofa is 88 inches long and 43 inches deep, so it needs a large room and clearance behind it for the reclining backs. The best new price is $2,279 for the set at Luna Furniture as of November 7, 2026, with three stores listing it new.

Pros
  • Power recline on both sofa ends, so two people can recline at once
  • Performance fabric is marketed as stain- and spill-resistant
  • Matching sofa and loveseat keeps the room coordinated
  • Black upholstery hides wear and dirt well
  • Sold as a set, which usually costs less than buying each piece separately
Cons
  • 43-inch depth plus recline travel needs a lot of floor space
  • Power reclining depends on outlets or cords near the sofa
  • Black fabric shows light-colored pet hair
  • Set-only sale means you cannot buy just the sofa
  • Some owners report the fabric and cushions feel firmer than expected

Questions and answers

Is the Ashley Biscoe sofa set worth $2,279?
At $2,279 for a power-reclining sofa and loveseat, it is priced in line with other Ashley power sets. Check the return policy and warranty, since reviews mention motor and fabric issues.
How much room does the sofa need?
The sofa is 88 inches long and 43 inches deep. Leave several inches behind it for the reclining back to travel, plus clearance in front for the footrests.
Does the power recline need to be plugged in?
Yes. The reclining motors run on electricity, so you need outlets near the sofa and loveseat, or a plan for cords across the floor.
Can I buy the sofa without the loveseat?
This listing is for the set. Ashley sells the pieces separately in some stores, but expect to pay more per piece than in the bundle.
Is the performance fabric good for pets?
It resists spills and stains, which helps with pets. The black color does show light-colored pet hair, so plan on regular vacuuming.
When is the price lowest?
Furniture sets usually drop during holiday sales and end-of-season clearance. Compare the three stores listing it new before buying.
Where is the Ashley Biscoe Performance Fabric Dual Power Reclining Sofa and Loveseat cheapest?
