Our take on the Ashley Bolanburg Dining Table and Chairs

These are two backless saddle-style bar stools from Ashley's Bolanburg collection, made of wood in a white finish with a 23-inch seat height. The saddle shape gives a slight curve to sit into, and each stool is rated for 250 lb. At $79.99 for the pair at In Home Furniture as of November 3, 2026, they sit at the low end of what the set has sold for recently, well below typical furniture-store pricing.

Questions and answers

Is $79.99 for two stools a good price?
Yes. At $79.99 for the pair at In Home Furniture as of November 3, 2026, that is about $40 per stool, near the bottom of the set's recent price range. Comparable solid wood saddle stools often run $60 to $100 each.
Will these fit under my kitchen counter?
The seat is 23 inches high, which suits standard 36-inch counters and islands. They are too short for 42-inch bar-height counters, where you want a 29- to 30-inch seat.
Do the stools come fully assembled?
No. Expect to attach the legs and stretchers yourself. Owners say assembly is straightforward but takes some time and a screwdriver.
How much weight can each stool hold?
Each stool is rated for 250 lb. The backless wood frame has no moving parts, so the rating holds as long as the joints stay tight.
Do they match the Bolanburg dining table?
Yes. They share the collection's white wood finish and antique styling, and many buyers use them as extra seating at the Bolanburg table or at a matching island.
Where is the Ashley Bolanburg Dining Table and Chairs cheapest?
At JR Furniture USA, for $99.95, 29% under what the other stores charge, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Ashley Bolanburg Dining Table and Chairs?
Rated 4.8 out of 5 from 175 ratings.
Where can I buy the Ashley Bolanburg Dining Table and Chairs?
9 stores we checked sell it, including Kensington Furniture, Home Depot, JR Furniture USA, Ashley, Fischer Furniture.
