Our take on the Ashley Cariton Cocktail Table

The Ashley Cariton is a 56-inch rectangular coffee table in a textured grayish brown ash veneer over engineered wood, with a plank-effect top and a chunky U-shaped block base. It is large and heavy at 87 lbs, so it anchors a big living room rather than a small one. It ships flat and needs assembly. At $249.99 at JCPenney as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of what the six stores listing it new charge.
