Is the Ashley Urbanton dining set worth $999?

For solid hardwood with four upholstered chairs, $999 is a fair mid-range price. It is only listed at one store, so you are paying list price rather than a deal.

How many people does it seat?

Four. The set includes one table and four chairs, with no bench or extra seating.

Does it need assembly?

Yes. The table and chairs ship flat and require assembly, typically attaching legs and chair backs with the included hardware.

What are the chairs upholstered in?

Polyester over foam cushioning. It wipes clean but is not a stain-resistant performance fabric, so spills should be blotted quickly.

Will the table wobble on uneven floors?

It has adjustable levelers on the base, so you can correct small floor variations after assembly.

When is the best time to buy it?

Ashley runs furniture sales around major holidays and Labor Day. With one store listing it, watch for a sitewide promotion rather than a set-specific markdown.

Our take on the Ashley Urbanton Dining Table and Chairs

The Ashley Urbanton is a five-piece dining set: one solid hardwood table and four upholstered chairs in a walnut brown wood-tone finish. Its draw is the sculpted, organic look — rounded table edges and curved chair backs — at a mid-range price for solid wood rather than veneer. The best new price is $999 at Ashley as of November 5, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no discount to shop around for.
