Our take on the Asofer Outdoor Conversation Set with Textilene Chair and Coffee Table

The Asofer Outdoor Conversation Set is an 8-piece patio furniture set built around powder-coated metal frames, hand-woven PE rattan backrests and Textilene seating. It includes four rocking chairs, two loveseats and two glass-top coffee tables, with removable high-elastic foam cushions in waterproof fabric. The pieces are designed to be rearranged freely for courtyards, poolside areas, balconies and porches. It is a budget-tier set sold at mass retail, so expect lighter construction than premium resin wicker brands.

  • Removable, waterproof cushions are easy to clean
  • Frames are powder-coated metal for rust resistance

Cons
  • Textilene and thin PE rattan wear faster than premium wicker
  • Metal frames need covers or storage in harsh winters
  • Glass tabletops can chip and need care around kids
  • Assembly of eight pieces takes time
  • Cushions are likely thin compared with higher-priced sets

Questions and answers

Is this set worth it compared with a smaller 4-piece set?
If you regularly host six or more people, the extra rockers and second table justify the price. For a small balcony, a 4-piece set fits better and costs less.
How many people does it seat?
Four rocking chairs and two loveseats seat six comfortably and up to eight if the loveseats are shared. The two coffee tables serve both seating clusters.
Do the rocking chairs work on a wood deck?
Yes, the curved rocker bottoms are designed for flat hard surfaces like decks and patios. Add felt pads under the runners to protect wood.
Are the cushions waterproof?
The fabric is described as waterproof, but seams and foam can still soak through in heavy rain. Bring cushions inside or cover the set during storms.
What is in the box?
Four rocking chairs, two loveseats, two coffee tables, an instruction manual, a set of accessories and the necessary assembly tools. Cushions are included with the seating.
When is it cheapest?
Outdoor furniture discounts cluster around end of summer and Labor Day clearance, when patio sets are marked down to clear inventory. Watch the price history for a dip below the recent range.
