Our take on the Astoria Grand Brown Birch Solid Wood Curved Carved TV Stand with Storage

The Astoria Grand Brown Birch Solid Wood Curved Carved TV Stand is a traditional, carved-front media console in solid birch with a brown finish. It stands 19.69 inches tall and 18.11 inches deep, so it suits larger screens and rooms with a formal or classic look. It is a single-store, made-to-order style piece, and the best new price is $2,439.99 at Wayfair as of November 3, 2026. That is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare it against.

Pros
  • Solid birch construction, not particleboard
  • Curved, carved front gives a distinctive traditional look
  • Closed storage hides cables, remotes and clutter
  • Low 19.69-inch height keeps a large TV at a comfortable viewing level
  • Brown finish suits warm wood and leather furniture
Cons
  • $2,439.99 is a premium price for a TV stand
  • Only one new price listed, so little room to comparison shop
  • 18.11-inch depth needs clearance behind for cables and ventilation
  • Carved detailing is harder to dust than flat fronts
  • Heavy solid wood is awkward to move and may need two people

Questions and answers

Is $2,439.99 a good price for this TV stand?
It is the only new price listed, at Wayfair as of November 3, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge it against. Solid birch consoles with carved fronts commonly sell in the low thousands, so the price is in line with the category but not a bargain.
What size TV fits on it?
At 19.69 inches tall and 18.11 inches deep, it suits screens roughly 55 to 75 inches, depending on the width of the top. Check the listed width against your TV's stand footprint before buying.
Is it real solid wood?
Yes, the material is listed as solid wood with a brown finish. Expect visible grain variation between pieces, which is normal for solid birch.
Does it have storage?
Yes, it has closed storage behind the curved carved front. That hides media players, remotes and cables, but carved doors are slower to dust than flat panels.
How much assembly does it need?
Solid wood consoles of this size usually arrive partly assembled with the top and base to attach. Plan for two people, since the solid wood makes it heavy.
When is it cheapest?
Wayfair runs seasonal furniture sales around major holidays and clearance events. With only one store listing it, watch that listing for markdowns rather than expecting cross-store competition.
Where is the Astoria Grand Brown Birch Solid Wood Curved Carved TV Stand with Storage cheapest?
At Wayfair, for $2,439.99, as of our latest check.
