Is the Hopwood bistro set worth it?

At $173.99 at Wayfair as of November 5, 2026, it is a reasonable price for a cast aluminum three-piece set. Cast aluminum usually outlasts cheaper steel sets in wet climates. Check the chair weight rating before buying if you need it for larger adults.

Does the table fit a standard patio umbrella?

The table has an umbrella hole, but the listing does not state the hole diameter. Measure your umbrella pole and confirm the size with the store before ordering. A heavy umbrella may also need a separate weighted base.

How does cast aluminum hold up outdoors?

Cast aluminum does not rust like steel, so it handles rain and humidity well. The black finish can chip over time, and the metal can dent if the set is dropped. A cover in winter extends its life.

What is included in the set?

You get one bistro table and two chairs. Cushions and an umbrella are not included.

When is the best time to buy it?

Outdoor furniture usually drops in price at the end of summer and around Black Friday. With only one new listing at $173.99 as of November 5, 2026, watch that price for a few weeks before buying.

Our take on the Astoria Grand Hopwood Bistro Set

The Hopwood is a three-piece outdoor bistro set from Astoria Grand: two chairs and a round table in black cast aluminum. The cast aluminum frame is the main selling point, since it resists rust better than steel and is lighter to move than wrought iron. The table has an umbrella hole, so it can shade a small patio or balcony. At $173.99 at Wayfair as of November 5, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.
