Is the Asus Chromebook Plus CX14 worth it?

Yes if you mainly use a browser, Google Workspace and video calls. At around $349 it is a fair price for a 1080p touchscreen Chromebook with 8 GB RAM and a 256 GB SSD.

No. It runs ChromeOS, so Windows apps will not install. Android apps from the Play Store and Linux apps work.

Can I upgrade the RAM or storage?

RAM is soldered and not user-upgradeable. The SSD is technically replaceable, but ChromeOS makes swapping it impractical for most owners.

How is the battery life?

Expect roughly 8 to 10 hours of mixed browsing and video. Heavy video streaming or high brightness will shorten that.

The laptop and a USB-C charger. No stylus or mouse is included.

Chromebooks like this drop most during back-to-school and Black Friday sales. Watch the price history rather than buying at full list.
