Is the ASUS CX34 good for students?

Yes. The 14-inch touchscreen, Core 5 120U and 8 GB RAM cover note-taking, browser tabs and video calls. It is light enough to carry daily and boots quickly.

Can it run Windows apps?

No. It runs Chrome OS, so you use web apps and Android apps from the Play Store. Windows desktop software needs a Windows laptop or a remote desktop.

Is 8 GB of RAM enough?

For Chrome OS, 8 GB is comfortable for a dozen or more tabs plus video. Heavy multitasking with many tabs and apps open can slow it down, and RAM is soldered.

Does it have a touchscreen?

Yes. The 14-inch LED panel is a 1920x1080 touchscreen, so you can tap and scroll directly.
