Is the 8GB of RAM enough for gaming?

It is tight. Many 2023 games want 16GB, and this machine ships with one 8GB DDR5 stick, so plan on adding a second module.

Can I upgrade the RAM and storage?

Yes. There are two SO-DIMM slots and an M.2 slot. The listing says 16GB maximum, so confirm the real limit with ASUS before buying a kit.

Does it have a touchscreen?

The specs say touchscreen yes, but the same listing describes a no-glare 144Hz panel, which is normally non-touch. Treat it as non-touch unless the seller confirms otherwise.

What games can the RTX 3050 Ti run?

Esports titles like Valorant and CS2 run well above 144 fps. Demanding AAA games run at medium settings at 1080p, limited by 4GB of VRAM.

The laptop and its charger. Nothing else is listed.

When is the best time to buy it?

This is a 2022 model, so it is usually cheapest during clearance sales and back-to-school events. Check its price history before buying.

Our take on the ASUS TUF Gaming A15 (2022) FA507RE-HN014W Laptop

The ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA507RE is a 15.6-inch budget gaming laptop with an AMD Ryzen 7 6800H, an RTX 3050 Ti, 8GB of DDR5 RAM and a 512GB NVMe SSD. It stands out for its 144Hz no-glare FHD screen, backlit keyboard, Ethernet port and a rated 13 hours of battery life at 4.9 lb. The 8GB of RAM is the weak point: it is a single SO-DIMM, and the listed 16GB maximum is low for a machine with this CPU.
