Our take on the August Grove Cream Beige 3 Seat Velvet Cloud Sofa with Movable Ottoman

The August Grove Cream Beige 3 Seat Velvet Cloud Sofa is an upholstered three-seater in cream velvet with deep tufting, pom pom trim and a movable ottoman that doubles as a chaise extension or extra seat. The low, rounded "cloud" shape and soft velvet give it a plush, decorative look rather than a firm, structured one. It is a statement piece for a living room or bedroom sitting area. Questions and answers

Is this sofa firm enough for everyday sitting?
Cloud-style sofas like this are built soft, with deep tufting and plush cushions. Expect a sink-in feel rather than firm lumbar support, so it suits lounging more than long upright sitting.
How do I clean cream velvet?
Vacuum with a soft brush attachment and blot spills immediately with a clean cloth. Avoid soaking the fabric; for deeper marks, use a velvet-safe upholstery cleaner on a hidden spot first.
What does the movable ottoman do?
It can sit in front of the sofa as a footrest, push against one end to form a chaise, or move elsewhere as a standalone seat. That flexibility is the main practical advantage over a fixed chaise.
Will it fit through a standard doorway?
Check the assembled width and depth against your door and hallway before ordering. Low cloud sofas are wide, and tufted backs can make them bulky to maneuver around corners.
Is it good for homes with pets or kids?
Cream velvet is one of the harder fabrics to keep clean, and claws can snag tufted loops. It works best in low-traffic rooms or households prepared for regular spot cleaning.
When is the best time to buy it?
Watch the price history around major sale events and holiday weekends, when upholstery discounts are common. Compare the current price with its recent low before buying.
