- Is a box spring needed with this bed?
- No. It is a platform frame, so a full mattress sits directly on the slats.
- What mattress size fits it?
- A standard full mattress, 54 by 75 inches.
- How much storage do the drawers give?
- The built-in drawers run under the frame and hold bedding, clothes or toys. Leave open floor space beside the bed so they can pull out.
- Is the frame solid wood?
- It is pine. Pine is a real wood but a softer one, so expect some denting over years of use.
- Is $278.99 a good price?
- It is the best new price found, at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, and the only new listing, so there is no lower store price to compare. Check the price history before buying.
- Is it suitable for a young child?
- The safe rails help, but check the rail height against your child and confirm the mattress sits low enough for the rails to matter.
- Where is the Aukfa Full Size Platform with Storage Drawers and Safe Rails Wood Bed Pink cheapest?
- At Walmart, for $278.99, as of our latest check.
